No abrasive scrubbing, during the healing process your tattoo will begin to peel, just like a sunburn would. DO NOT pull off the peeling skin, let it come off on its own. Hard scrubbing will force this skin off and possibly skin that isn't ready which could cause bleeding and scabs to form. scabs are BAD. Keep your tattoo lubricated! When washing your tattoo only use your finger tips.

Tattoo Aftercare

No swimming! During the healing process avoid soaking your tattoo for longer than 5 minutes. You don't want your tattoo to absorb too much water.

When taking a shower avoid letting the water hit your tattoo directly until your tattoo is 100% finished peeling. This can be just as harmful as abrasive scrubbing!

  • Wash your hands with Dial antibacterial soap then gently wash your tattoo with your fingertips using gentle circular motions. Thoroughly rinse your tattoo with a drenched towel, dripping the water over your tattoo. Then pat dry with a dry soft towel.

  • Apply a thin layer of Hustle Butter Deluxe every 4-6 hours or as needed, continue for 2 weeks!
  • Hustle Butter is made from NATURAL ingredients and is amazingly proactive during not only the healing stages, but also when used as a lubricant during the tattoo; It also works as an excellent moisturizer after your tattoo is healed.

No tanning or excessive sunlight during your healing process. Your new tattoo is growing fresh skin and is highly susceptible to sun burns.

After your tattoo is healed, to keep it looking bright and brand new make sure to wear sunblock over your tattoo. Harmful UV rays can make your tattoo look old and faded if it's not protected properly.
